Miguel Aldrufeu  HT. (Dot 1957) I saw this rose first in May, 1953, at Pedro Dot's nursery at San Felieu de Llobregat, near Barcelona. It has taken a long time to reach us but I will be surprised if it does not become popular quickly. The salmon-pink colouring, the good form, the large size, the good lasting qualities (about fifty petals) and the stiff stem with a fairly vigorous plant make this a fine double purpose rose.

Linda Porter (HT) (P. Dot, 1956).  We class this variety among the better new roses which we are listing in our 1959 Novelty List.  The blooms are clear pink, satin shaded inside and out.  It has an absolutely perfect bud which opens into a very double flower which is highly fragrant.  These are produced singly on long strong stems.  The bud opens slowly and develops into an absolutely perfect fully-double bloom which is long lasting.  Really an outstanding exhibition rose.  The growth is very vigorous and we would say it most certainly is one of the best new American introductions.  12/6.
