Dwarf Polyantha Roses
Listed separately this season, for convenience sake, these true ever-blooming Roses, which bear their showy clusters of small flowers almost the whole year through, are most valuable for bedding, massing and edging where a continuous blaze of color is desired.
George Elger (1912)  The yellowest baby Rose of all with clusters of lovely yellow buds in graceful sprays.  Fine foliage.  Free bloomer.  ...  75 cents

Polyantha Roses
Polyanthas are, perhaps the most truly everblooming of all Roses, being scarcely ever out of flower during the whole growing season... They are especially valuable for massing, edging, and to some extent for mingling with other flowers.
George Elger. (E. Turbat & Co., 1912.) Lovely yellow buds and delicately formed flowers, paling with age. Graceful sprays, moderate growth, and continuous bloom.
The yellowest Polyantha, but suffers in severe winters if left outdoors. This makes a charming pot Rose for flowering indoors during the winter. The tiny, perfectly formed buds are glowing yellow and produced very freely at all times.

Polyanthas.
Baby George Elger. Hybrid Polyantha. (E. Turbat & Co., 1912.) The long-sought-for yellow Cecile Brunner. This, with Cecile Brunner and Perle d'Or, are the best corsage varieties. They all have about the same foliage and should not be confused with the other hardy Polyantha "Baby" kinds.
Book  (1926)  Page(s) 54.

George Elger (E. Turbat & Co., 1912): orange buds and exquisitely formed blooms of pale yellow, fading white. A very good yellow of the Cecile Brunner type, but less hardy than the others, and it has seldom survived the winter for me. 'Perle d'Or', (Dubreuil, 1888) is similar, but even more tender.
