Introduced in United States by Co-Operative Rose Growers in 1958 as 'The Alamo'.
Introduced by Unknown (Australia) in 1961 as 'The Alamo'.

Hybrid Tea.  

Red.  Cardinal red.  Mild fragrance.  100 to 125 petals.  Average diameter 4".  Large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  

Medium, bushy, upright, well-branched.  Medium, leathery foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.
