Bred by George Paul (1841-1921) (United Kingdom, 1879).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Marquis of Salisbury'.

Bloom:
Deep pink, crimson shading.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular, scalloped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.
