Bred by Joseph Boyau père / Boyeau (France, 1842).
Introduced in Australia by Woodbridge Nurseries in 1898 as 'La Sylphide'.
Class:
Noisette, Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lilac shading.  Tea fragrance.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Climbing.  Matte, dark green foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 47" (120cm).  Width: 35" (90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
