Bred by Victor Etienne Gautreau (France, 1865).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1873 as 'Camille Bernardin'.

Bloom:

Crimson, white edges. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Light green foliage. 5 leaflets.
