Bred by Hendrikus Antonie Verschuren Jr. (1885-1947) (Netherlands, before 1948).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1951 as 'Hens Verschuren'.

Bloom:

Red. Very large bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Long buds.
