Bred by Samuel McGredy II (United Kingdom, 1909).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1910 as 'His Majesty'.

Bloom:

Crimson, vermilion edges. Strong fragrance. Large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be trained as a climber. Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.
