Origin:

Bred by Joseph F. Winchel (United States, 1998).
Introduced in United States by Certified Nurseries in 1998 as '1998 Traditional Home'.

Class:

Bloom:

Mauve or purple blend. Mild fragrance. 15 to 25 petals. Average diameter 4". Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Medium, upright. Medium, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.

Height: 5' (150cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
