Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1987).
Introduced in New Zealand by McGredy Roses International (New Zealand) in 1995 as 'Hot Chile'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Orange-red.  Red.  Mild fragrance.  16 petals.  Average diameter 2.75".  Semi-double to double, in small clusters bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Short, bushy, spreading.  Small, glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 1' to 3' (30 to 90cm).  Width: up to 42" (up to 105cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for ground cover.  
Breeder's notes:
Hot Chilli - Macbunder. Nicknamed Bunderberg.

Notes:
The Royal National Rose Society says MACbunber is a cluster-flowered shrub which bears clusters of semi-double blood red blooms with white at the base...
