Origin:
Bred by Samuel Darragh (1932-2019) McGredy IV (1990).
Introduced in New Zealand by Egmont Roses in 1998 as 'Maria McGredy'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink blend, cream reverse.  Salmon-pink & apricot, can fade. Sometimes split or confused centers..  Mild fragrance.  40 petals.  Average diameter 4.5".  Full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall.  Large, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 4'11" (up to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for exhibition.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
