Origin:
Bred by Alexander Dickson II (1857-1949) (United Kingdom, 1891).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Margaret Dickson'.
Class:
Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
White, light pink center.  Shell-shaped petals of great substance.  Mild fragrance.  up to 65 petals.  Large, full (26-40 petals), cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Large, dark green foliage.  

Height: up to 12' (up to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to Mildew.  Prune lightly or not at all.
