Notes:
Mentioned by Gore in The Book of Roses: of the Rose Fancier's Manual, p. 213, as resembling Alix; Diademe de Flore, only smaller. An earlier 'Diadème de Flore' by Descemet (later sold by Vibert) was replaced by a larger rose of the same name by Sommesson. The earlier was then calles "ancien" [old Diadem], but the two roses often confused in literature.
