Bred by George Beckwith & Son (United Kingdom, 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1927 as 'Oriental Queen'.
Class:
China / Bengale, Hybrid China.  
Bloom:
Orange - scarlet, yellow undertones, ages to carmine-red .  Medium, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
