Bred by Herbert C. Swim (United States, before 1954).
Introduced in United States by Armstrong Nursery in 1955 as 'Gold Strike'.
Class:
Floribunda, Florists Rose.  
Bloom:
Lemon-yellow.  Moderate, tea fragrance.  30 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), in small clusters, high-centered to cupped, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small, leafy sepals, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact, spreading, upright.  Medium, semi-glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
