Origin:
Bred by L. Pernille Olesen (Denmark, 1992). Bred by Mogens Nyegaard Olesen (Denmark, 1992).
Introduced in Denmark by Poulsen Roser A/S in 1997 as 'Grand Palace'.
Class:
Floribunda, Mini-Flora.   (Series: Palace ® Collection)  
Bloom:
Dark red.  Mild fragrance.  25 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, very double, borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Semi-glossy, dark green foliage.  

Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

The present invention constitutes a new and distinct variety of compact floribunda rose plant which originated from a controlled crossing between an unnamed seedling and `POULmax` ...Asexual reproduction of `POULgrad` by cuttings was first done in their nursery in Fredensborg, Denmark in May, 1993 and by traditional budding in their nursery in Fredensborg, Denmark in August, 1993 by L. Pernille and Mogens N. Olesen.
