Registration name: Rotelfe (hybrid tea, Tantau, 1922)
Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau (1882 - 1953) (Germany, 1922).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1926 as 'Rotelfe'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Scarlet, brown shading.  Mild fragrance.  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright, well-branched.  Small, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Modern Roses 10 says this rose is extinct.
