Origin:

Bred by R.T. Hamilton (1901-1994) (Australia, 1946).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1949 as 'Rod Stillman'.

Hybrid Tea.

Bloom:

Light pink. Light pink, with orange base, deepening in autumn.. Strong fragrance. 30 to 35 petals. Average diameter 4". In small clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season.

Habit:

Tall. Dark green foliage.

Height: 4'1" to 4¼' (125 to 130cm). Width: 39" (100cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for cut flower, exhibition or garden.

Roger Mann reports: 'Rod Stillman' was bred in Australia, by R.T. Hamilton, who was for many years Secretary (and president too, at other times) of the Rose Society of Victoria. It's still a first-rate rose.
