Bred by Frank L. Riethmuller (1884-1965) (Australia, 1954).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1954 as 'Spring Song'.
Class:
Polyantha, Shrub.  
Bloom:
Carmine Pink ..  Strong fragrance.  Semi-double to double, in large clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 3' (90cm).  Width: 5' (150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).

Notes:
The early 1950s references say 'Spring Song' had tall vigorous growth.
