Origin:
Bred by Wilhelm J.H. Kordes II (1891-1976) (Germany, 1922).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1924 as 'S.S. Pennock'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, light yellow highlights.  Strong fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Bushy, upright.  Large, medium green, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
