Bloom:
Crimson, carmine-red highlights, lilac outer petals.  Strong fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Matte foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4b through 8b.  Vigorous.
