ARS:
Mauve or mauve blend. Registration name: Reine des Amateurs (gallica, Hébert, pre 1830)
Bloom:
Pink, lilac shading, lighter edges. Strong fragrance. Average diameter 3". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), expanded , globular bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.

Armed with thorns / prickles, bristly . Dark green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
'Madame Hébert' as a synonym for 'Reine des Amateurs' is historically incorrect, and is based on a recent misunderstanding of the name of the breeder as that of the rose. 'Reine des Amateurs' at Sangerhausen seems to be mislabeled (see References)
