Notes:
Enfant d'Ajaccio = Child of Ajaccio in Corsica is a hidden hint to Napoléon Bonaparte, who was born there in 1769.
Sangerhausen describes the color of the bloom as carmine-pink.
Breeding year of 1800 is not possible for a Bourbon rose.
Verdier exhibits 'Enfant d'Ajaccio' and 'Souvenir d'Anselme' as distinct roses in 1845.
