Origin:
Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, before 1955).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1955 as 'Carinita'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Strong pink or fuchsia with white eye.  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Small foliage.  

Height: 14" to 18" (35 to 45cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
