Bred by Ian Robert Gear (New Zealand, 1998).
Class:
Floribunda, Miniature, Shrub.  
Bloom:
White or white blend.  Mild fragrance.  41 petals.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, compact.  Dark green foliage.  

Height: 28" to 32" (70 to 80cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders or cut flower.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
The Wedding Rose is one of the new varieties being added to the RINZ Rose Display Trial at the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens in 1999.
