Bred by Dr. Tōru Onodera (Japan, 1989).
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Red.  Small, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Arching.  Small, glossy foliage.  

Height: 1' to 3' (30 to 90cm).  Width: 4' to 4½' (120 to 135cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for ground cover.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .  Can be grown in the ground or in a container (container requires winter protection).
