Bloom:
Dark purple or dark red. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, semi-double to double bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Possibly two distinct roses. 'Aigle noir' is stated as a synonym of 'Maheca nova'. However, it would be unusual that 'Aigle noir double', the version with double blooms would have been bred before the original 'Aigle noir' with semi-double blooms.
