Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), 1888).
Introduced in Germany by Rosenhof Schultheis e.K. in 1888 as 'Herzblättchen'.
Introduced in Luxembourg by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder in 1889 as 'Herzblättchen'.
Class:
Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Pink.  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Short, climbing.  

Height: up to 2' (up to 60cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
According to Erich Unmuth, it is questionable whether 'Herzblättchen' in gardens and in commerce is the original Geschwind rose - see References.
