Origin:
Bred by Rudolf Geschwind (1829-1910) (Austria-Hungary (former), before 1888).
Introduced in Luxembourg by Ketten Frères/Bros./Gebrüder in 1888 as 'Marie Dermar'.
Class:
Hybrid Bourbon, Hybrid Noisette.  
Bloom:
Cream, light pink shading.  Cream to white with soft rose tint.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 2".  Small to medium, full (26-40 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped bloom form.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  

Height: up to 11½' (up to 350cm).  Width: 4'11" (150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Can be used for cut flower, garden, landscape or pillar.  Vigorous.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Sangerhausen describes the color of the blooms as yellowish-white.
