Dark red Hybrid Tea.
Origin:
Bred by Pierre (fils) Bernaix (France, before 1926).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Souvenir d'Alexandre Bernaix'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Crimson - vermilion, purple shading, red edges.  Very large, full (26-40 petals), cupped, globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Large, ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Reddish-purple foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
