Bred by Joseph Pernet-Ducher (France, before 1925).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1925 as 'Souvenir de Clermonde'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Souvenir de Clermonde'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, darker center, yellow shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Large, glossy, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  vigorous.
