Bred by Jean-Baptiste André (fils) Guillot (1827-1893) (France, 1884).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Souvenir de Gabrielle Drevet'.

Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-orange, pink center, yellow undertones, copper undertones, ages to salmon-pink .  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
