Origin:
Bred by W. J. W. "Jim" Sanday (United Kingdom, 1975).
Introduced in United Kingdom by John Sanday (Roses) Ltd. in 1980 as 'Malmesbury'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Yellow.  Mild fragrance.  23 petals.  Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, compact.  Medium green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Malmesbury was bred for the 1100-year celebrations (post of 16.12.2020 on fb group "Malmesbury Now & Then")
