Bred by Francis Meilland (1912-1958) (France, 1939).
Introduced in France by Meilland et Cie in 1940 as 'Ankara'.

Hybrid Tea, Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Salmon-orange, copper center.  Mild fragrance.  Very large, double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Medium green, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
