Bred by George Paul (1841-1921) (United Kingdom, before 1897).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'T. B. Haywood'.

Bloom:
Scarlet - red.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 4a through 5b.
