Origin:
Bred by Vilmorin-Andrieux (post 1947) (France, before 1951).
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1953 as 'Chaperon Rouge'.
Class:
Floribunda, Polyantha.  
Bloom:
Crimson, darker center.  Moderate, sweet fragrance.  Medium, very double, cluster-flowered, open bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Bushy.  Glossy, bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Mentioned in the American Rose Annual 1952 as one of the New Roses of the World.
