For 1915, we purpose issuing the three most wonderful Roses the world has yet seen. Nothing to compare with these has yet been produced by any raiser, and we believe when known they will be regarded as the three greatest Novelties of the Century: --
Cheerful (H.T.) -- Colour, pure orange flame, the flame shading overspreading the petal, giving it a wonderful and pleasing effect together with the distinct orange yellow base, creates a combination of colour hitherto unknown in Roses. The colour effect of this great novelty is really marvellous, representing a shaded electric light; even the older and expanded blooms retain their fascinating colouring to the last. The blooms are very large and full, of perfect shape and form, with enormous petals and grand general character. This variety even surpasses "Caroline Testout", with exactly the same habit of growth and size of bloom, but its glossy foliage is mildew proof. It opens its blooms in all weather, flowering free and continuously throughout the whole season. This is the most remarkable variety in cultivation, and the grandest novelty among modern Roses. Very sweetly scented. Superb.
