Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Joseph Métral'.

Bloom:
Fuchsia / magenta, ages to cherry-red.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, very double, flat, reflexed, ruffled bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
