Introduced in France by Pernet-Ducher, Joseph in 1884 as 'Charles de Legrady'.
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Charles de Legrady'.

Bloom:
Carmine-red, silver(y) edges, ages to deep pink .  Moderate fragrance.  Large, very double bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Well-branched.  Dark green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
