Origin:
Bred by Marie aka Veuve (vve, widow) Ducher (1834-1881) (France, 1879).
Introduced in Australia by Robert Rattray's Rosebank Nursery in 1894 as 'Jean Lorthois'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Pink, darker center, silver(y) reverse.  Sweet fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
