Bred by Marie aka Veuve (vve, widow) Ducher (1834-1881) (France, 1879).
Introduced in Australia by C. F. Newman and Sons - Adelaide in 1894 as 'Jules Finger'.

Bloom:
Salmon-pink to red.  Large, double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
