Bred by George Dawson (1904-1991) (Australia, 1983).
Introduced in Australia by Rainbow Roses in 1983 as 'City of Benalla'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Orange-pink.  Mild fragrance.  35 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Large, high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, dark green, dense, leathery foliage.  

Height: 4'11" to 6'7" (150 to 200cm).  Width: 47" to 4'11" (120 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
