Bred by C. Brown (United Kingdom, before 1829). Introduced in France by Calvert in before 1829 as 'Hybride de Brown'.
Class:
Hybrid China, Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Blush, red center. Moderate fragrance. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, full (26-40 petals), globular bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns, well-branched. Light green foliage.
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
