Origin:
Bred by Gerald Adriaan Van Rossem (Netherlands, before 1926).
Introduced in France by Grandes Roseraies du Val de la Loire in 1926 as 'Goudvlinder'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Goudvlinder'.
Class:
Pernetiana.  
Bloom:
Golden-yellow, orange shading, yellow stamens.  up to 12 petals.  Small, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns.  Reddish-purple foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
