Notes:
Yehudi Menuhin, one of the greatest musicians of the 20th Century, was born on April 22, 1916. He was only seven years old when he gave his first violin performance. He made his Carnegie Hall debut at the age of ten on 13 December 1927. His career spanned over 75 years. His wife, Diana Gould Menuhin, for whom this rose was named, was a former British actress and ballet dancer.
