Discovered by Barbara Worl (United States). Discovered by Fred Boutin (United States, 1972).

Found Rose, Hybrid Perpetual.  
Bloom:
Pink, lilac undertones, darker center, ages to light pink .  Strong, rose fragrance.  Full (26-40 petals), old-fashioned bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall, arching, bushy.  Fragrant foliage.  

Height: 6' to 12' (185 to 365cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 10a.  Can be grown as a shrub.  heat tolerant.  prefers dry climates.  Disease susceptibility: susceptible to blackspot .  Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood..

Notes:
American Rose magazine, April 2006, P.8, rules that "Grandmother's Hat is the name to be used when entering this rose in a "Found Rose" class.
