Bloom: Deep pink to cherry-red, white flecks.  Medium, full (26-40 petals), button-eye, cupped bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.   
Habit: Well-branched.  
 Height: 39" (100cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Prune after flowering is finished.

Notes: Philippe, Duke of Orléans, French general and regent. Born at Saint-Cloud 2 August 1674. Died 2 December 1723. 'Duke of Orléans' may or may not be a synonym for the rose 'Adèle Heu', the name of the breeder's late wife. Ferdinand, son of Louis-Philippe I and Duc d'Orléans, was born 3 September 1810 in Palermo, Italy, and died 13 July 1842 in Neuilly sur Seine.
