Crimson, violet shading. Velvety. Average diameter 5". Very large, very double bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Few or no prickles/thorns. Glossy, light green foliage.
Growing:

Dedicated to Jean-Nicolas Marjolin (December 6, 1780 Ray-sur-Saône, Haute-Saône - March 4, 1850 Paris), French surgeon, professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris. Marjolin was a lover of roses and dahlias. He is buried at the cemetery of Père Lachaise.
