Origin:
Bred by Jean-Marie Gaujard (1903-1995) (France, 1956).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Salmon-pink, lavender edges, lavender flecks.  Mild fragrance.  Large, semi-double (9-16 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Glossy, leathery foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Tennessee Williams' play, The Rose Tattoo, was released as a movie in 1955, the year before this rose was introduced. Anna Magnani won an Academy Award for her role as a heart-broken widow who finds love again.
