Introduced in France by Charles Pierre Marie Cochet-Cochet in 1926 as 'Jean Lhoste'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1928 as 'Jean Lhoste'.
Class:
Hybrid Wichurana, Rambler.  
Bloom:
Carmine-pink, blush undertones.  Large, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  

Height: up to 9'10" (up to 300cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Hardy.  vigorous.
